• 1° Concorso Artistico Intenazionale "Pinocchio: un burattino senza fili", Esposizione multimediale a cura della Galleria "La Chimera", Lecce, gennaio 2012, 1° Classificato con il Dipinto "Italia: 150 Anni di Unità".

• 1° Concorso Internazionale d'Arte "La Grisaglia" (con la partecipazione di 168 artisti di tutto il mondo) - Villa Rosa di Martinsicuro (TE), 15 aprile 2012, con l'Alto Patrocinio della Presidenza della Repubblica, della Camera dei Deputati, Rai 3, della Regione Abruzzo e della Provincia di Teramo. 4° Classificato nella Categoria Artisti Professionisti, con i dipinti "Troy: l'Inganno del Cavallo" e "Il Giardino dei Pensieri". Giuria presieduta da Philippe Daverio e Nuccio Mula.
•  Premio "Città dei 2 Mari - Magna Grecia" - Palazzo del Governo di Taranto, 26 maggio 2012 "Al Maestro Francesco de Marco, per l'alto impegno professionale profuso nel corso dell'ultimo anno e per aver  contribuito all'affermazione dell'arte, in una nuova interpretazione della cultura greca, culla della civiltà europea".

• Festivalarte 2011 - Cultural Association "The Chimera", Lecce, April 2011, Distinguished Artist.

• 1 st International Art Contest "Pinocchio, a puppet with no wires" multimedia exhibition by the gallery "The Chimera", Lecce, January 2012, First Place with the painting "Italy: 150 Years of Unity".

• 1 st International Art Competition "The Grisaille" (with the participation of 168 artists from around the world) - Villa Rosa Martinsicuro (TE), April 15 2012, with the High Patronage of the Presidency of the Republic, the Chamber of Deputies, Rai 3, the Abruzzo Region and the Province of Teramo. Position 4th in the category Professional Artists, with the paintings "Troy: Deception of the Horse" and "The Garden of Thoughts". Jury chaired by Philippe Daverio and Nuccio Mula.
•  Prize "City of the two seas - Magna Grecia" - Government Palace of Taranto, Italy, May 26, 2012: "To the Master Francesco de Marco for the high professional commitment and efforts over the last year and for having contributed to the affirmation of the art, in a new interpretation of the Greek culture, the cradle of European civilization."
