"Francesco de Marco è indenne dal passato dell’arte; per questo è uno spirito ed un artista libero e senza complessi, né è sotto gioghi culturali, incasellato o incatenato ad appartenenze figurative o a mode linguistiche.

Della sua vita - fortemente vissuta e densa di esperienze – ci comunica il gesto dell’imprevisto e la rara abilità di fermare l’attimo, di codificarlo.

Incredibile è vedere come la stessa idea possa in lui attuarsi in più trasformazioni … una sorpresa che nasce e rinasce continuamente.

Sulle tele appaiono fascinose e cromatiche coagulazioni di pensiero, apparentemente pure fantasie, capricci, ma che in realtà sono indizi di un moto di rigenerazione che dall’astratto conduce al concreto e che esistono in quanto robuste e profonde sono le radici nella terra, quelle stesse per cui l’uomo vive, pensa, ragiona, immagina, sogna. L’unico modo di possedere la vita avviene attraverso la contemplazione, la memoria, l’arte.

Tachisme ed Informale Astratto sono il costante riferimento di Francesco de Marco nella sua ricerca pittorica. La macchia di colore, l’elemento base che ne costituisce e ne compone la struttura e la forma, fu già alla base delle ricerche di Leonardo per poi essere criticamente indagata da Benedetto Croce corrispondendo essa al ritmo, al motivo, all’onda lirica. 

Oggi si può paradossalmente fare a meno di una vera e propria qualità informativa dell’opera d’arte, potendo solo una o più parti costituenti e componenti l’insieme farci costruire una nostra personale interpretazione del segno, concorde o magari discorde con quella complessiva indicata e costruita dall’artista stesso.

A queste nuove aperture e differenti, fascinose chiavi di lettura, ci conduce e ci apre la recente attività di Francesco de Marco, confermandoci ancora una volta che è tipico della creazione artistica metabolizzare le costanti epocali e topologiche del mondo esterno e di tutto quanto partecipa della vita del nostro tempo."

On his canvases are fascinating and chromatic coagulation of thought, apparently pure fantasy, caprice. In reality they are signs of a movement of regeneration that leads from abstract to the concrete and that there are as strong and deep roots in the land, those same to where people live, think, thinks, imagines, dreams.

The only way is to have life through contemplation, memory, art.

Tachisme and Informel Art are the constant reference to Francesco de Marco in his painting. The splash of color, which forms the basic element and makes up the structure and form, was already the basis of studies of Leonardo. Then it was critically investigated by Benedetto Croce correspond to the rhythm of it, the reason, the wave opera.
